When graphic designer Kathy Fagan created her first handbag out of a remnant of vintage fabric two years ago, she had no idea she would be launching a creative new venture. From a desire to do something new, unique, and rewarding, the Kathy Fagan handbag collection was born.

With her background in design, and love of color and texture, Kathy dusted off her sewing machine and began to create unique handbag designs from a variety of vintage and decorator fabrics, imported ribbons, and exotic trims. The result was a collection of distinctive bags that exude low-key elegance and a touch of witty charm. Response to the debut collection was overwhelming, and Kathy soon turned the sewing over to a team of seamstresses so she could concentrate on design.

For 2007, the focus is on rich color and luxurious fabrics in styles ranging from tiny evening bags to roomy totes. For brides, the “to have and to hold” collection offers exquisite designs for every gown style. As always, customers can expect to see more of the same whimsical flair, fine craftsmanship and attention to detail that have become Kathy’s signature.
